The original sketch comedy revue, Schadenfruede – a German noun meaning “pleasure derived from the misfortune of others,” has an open run at Chicago’s Heartland Studio Theater. The frequently sold-out performances that humorously draw on the wackiness of daily interactions include music and comic monologues and new material is rotated in every week.
