Description and Basic Information ::

| This movie theater opened on August 22, 1929 as an alternative to the larger downtown film houses. It featured second-run films until 1977 after which time it was used only sporadically until 1983 when it was renovated. First rivival and repertory films were shown with cult films, independent films and documentaries added eight years later. |
